I’ve been listenin/tryin to/meanin to listen to this at least once a day.  There ain’t many more bad ass USA songs, particularly when performed by Sir J.R. Cash, and the First Two Families of Virginia (yea, only two of the Statlers are brothers).   They should really play this version before the third period/seventh inning/fourth quarter of every game.

 USA: we kick all ass!!!!!

Knowledge is knowing that the Tomato is a fruit; Wisdom is knowing that you shouldn't include it in a Fruit Salad; Philosophy is wondering if a Bloody Mary counts as smoothie

I need one of these in t-top, but I'd have to rebuild the motor to give it another 100 horses at a minimum...

😍🥰 you found the other Chrysler id buy!!

even if it wasn't a Sinatra edition, that car is you, but it would need to be modernized a bit, tighten up the suspension and give it another 150 horses

Just catching up with all the -current- threads.. So, "Shit for Brains", how ya holdin' up bud?   :snicker:

Good to see ya, Lil!! Stay safe sweetie!!  :hearts:

I'm bored shitless.   And quickly going bankrupt.  I "own" a small sign company and we have zilch going on right now.  Most all our work comes from commercial and retail property owner/management, and they have all closed up their purses right now tighter than a frog's butthole.  Even had couple good ongoing contracts pulled that were already in progress. (ouch)

When I say I "own" that means I'm one of those brilliant American entrepreneurs who started their own business decades ago so they could work twice as many hours for less pay so they could have the freedom to be responsible for those who are not, and the ability to help support those who don't wish to work as hard  (wait, was that out loud again)

Hanging in there.  This too, shall pass.

the screen names Maccoshark and KollieOlizig both go back to the same computer, meaning they are the same person.

Every computer has an Internet address, your desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, these new refrigerators, even tv if you've connected it to wifi. It doesn't matter where in the world you move that computer, it still has that same address. It's how you get tracked for adverts.

 8-0
Could they be different people using the same device? Or maybe having bought that device?
I only ask, because Kolie doesn't come across, AT ALL like Maaco.  Maaco was a dickk.  Kolie seems okay.   Is it possible that maaco had a complete personality and charachter transplant?     Would he really be able to keep up this charade for so long?

Meh, You guys know way more than me on this stuff, so I will defer to your experience.
However, unless he refers back to his previous dickkdom, I will treat him as Kolie and not Maaco.
I think that's only fair....

Yes.  A big one.  Will it be enough?  doubt it.  Depends on how long this goes on.  We can weather the storm for a while, but I've been at this 30 years and it's unnerving how quickly everything dried up.  It usually takes much longer.  It concerns me how quickly it will start up again.

Could be worse...I could own a restaurant...or a nail salon...or a barber shop....or a retail store that is forced to be closed.  I'm small enough, I can technically remain working and maintain safe social distances, even with my crew.  Problem is I have nothing for them to do.

One part of the relief package is a business loan that pays my payroll of my full time staff for the next 8 weeks, and if I manage to keep them all on full time and provide payroll documentation, I don't have to pay back this "loan"  It's intent is to keep employees employed and not laid off.  Which is good.  Problem is I'm paying my full time guys full time pay to do basically nothing.  We aren't generating anything because we really don't have any work to do, so it's kind of silly. I imagine another week and my trucks will all be the cleanest and most organized they've been in years and the shop will be clean.
Who am I kidding.  My guys have no incentive to clean anything.  They are already grumbling about the busy work I give them.  (ahem....work = job = pay) but heaven forbid they stoop to something as lowly as taking out the trash they generate, or having the initiative to do something helpful.

The other problem is... I don't think 8 weeks in near enough.  At the end of that 8 weeks then what?  I will be tapped out and I don't see any grand economic recovery being turned on like a switch.  Then I will still have no work for them to do and then I really won't have anything left to pay them.  I'm still paying my truck payments, rent, utilities, vendors, etc, etc., all the while NOT collecting any revenue over the next 8 weeks (if that's all it is).

Meh, not to worry, this too, shall pass.  I've owned my own business a long time, and I've been broke before  :raspberry:

I ask because smokers are a very high risk group with the wuhan flu, it'd be a good idea to quit with the fags if you haven't already

I was a fleet mechanic for quite a few years, when a truck can in needing work and it was full of trash I'd clean out the truck and put it all in their locker. They learned real quick to clean up after themselves if I was around.

The damage is done.  If I quit now it won't make a blind bit of difference.  The damage is done.  My lungs a fucked.   We're not talking about a yourngster here, I have smoked for more years than I have been alive.   This was my choice.  It was a BAD choice, but still mine anyway.

Fact is, because of this, I have to be a little more carefull than most.   YES, it is my fault that my health is so threatened by ths disease.

When I meet people with your attitude.... I have to be EVEN more carefull.  I still have to go to the shops.  I take extra care.
There are people with undelying health issues that you donT know about.  Diabetes.  Heart issues.  You don't know.  All I'm asking is for you to be kind and considerate. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
