I thought Mantha looked good in the first game...then not so much.  I mean he was IN the play and getting chances this game, but the dude sure is snake bit for real.
Backy looks good, Willy looks fantastic.  Sonny sure is shining.  Goaltending..ooh-fah
Phillips has stood out in every game he's played.  I thought no way will this guy make the roster, but he definitely puts himself in position to score.
nice to actually win a shoot out.  Feels like we lost every single OT game last year.

So here is a thought. They have all these guys trying for the last roster spot, including Phillips, McMichael, Malynstyn, etc....  All of them are hungry relatively young players.  How about we send Mantha to Hershey and send him a message - not that it will do any good.  Maybe we get lucky and somebody claims him.

I mean, as usual, Mantha "looks" fine. Doesn't make many/any bonehead plays, appears to have all the tools, gets in on the action until.... fart noise.  Dudes gonna have about 60 games to show everyone why he makes all that money. Hoping for the best, it's all we can do at this point.
