I got skunk drunk on the trip up to 7 springs one time. Bet my buddy I'd not fall once.. Busted my ass before even getting to the ski lift..

I stopped going there years ago, far too many Pittsburgh fans there and it's kinda small for the crowds it brings in on the weekends. I think '04 was the last time I was there

There isn't a hill within 6 hours of here I haven't been on at least once, unfortunately most of them aren't worth returning to. My favorite local place is timberline in Canaan, but they've got management issues, operate on a shoe string. It's nice because all the rental properties have three night minimums, keeps the crowds down and it's got a good vertical for the east coast. I really like the valley, would've moved out there years ago if there were any decent jobs.

Snowshoe is nice, and expensive. Add airfare and you could go skiing out west. I love park city, only if I can stay on main street. While there I will spend a couple days at Alta, that place is awsome.        Alta/Snowbird get "500 of snow per season, all the other resorts out west get about "350. I've been in waist deep powder at Alta. It makes you go really slow.


I  also like Vail, at lionshead for the tram, place is huge, and I'll spend a day or two at beaver creek while there.

I need to go to Jackson hole and telluride


When I load my camelback I mix it heavy with at least 1/3 ice, I get a good shot of courage in morning, the ice usually melts by midday and get more hydration. Cept this one time at park city. At the end of the day I was really feeling it, but didn't realize how drunk I was until I took the skiis off and tried to walk. It's also my gauge on when it's too damn cold out. It's gotta be about *5 when my mixture freezes, and I've expienced that a few times

Oh, see, you're all serious about it and shit..    I went skiing once, in 87'.. At 7Springs. .    From looking at the map, I guess Bryce is the place I heard about near NoVa. My knees have been dislocated too many times to actually ski these days. I'd check out the resort bars and hot tubs though!

I used to spend a lot of time in the gym, before the first shoulder injury. The staff always hounded me about running, I told them to ef off, I'm saving my knees for skiing




that and being in the mountains out west is like going to church

Just saw where Wilson was on the ice, ahead of practice, working on skills stuff. I guess that's good? Though it seems sometimes when guys -aren't- going to practice with the team, they get on the ice before/after everyone else? Im not sure.. Either way, better to have him on the ice than off I guess! Have to see if he participates in actual practice as well..

yep, sometimes when they are still not ready to play they will go out and practice alone. That tells me he's not ready to play his physical game yet,  and is still not ready to be hit
