maybe, will have to see how many guys test positive in the next 12-18 hours. I wouldn't be surprised if half the team does, they've just been cooped up with each other for 10 days, during flu season
If the NHL is going to postpone games every time a player gets Covid....they might as well shut down the season now. It's going to happen...players are going to get it, but so what.
I seem to recall the flu wiping out big chunks of teams many times...even in the playoffs and don't recall any games being postponed because of it. I sound like an ANTI-Covid nut, but I'm not really. I just think the response has not been....appropriate to the threat level.
My wife and son both contracted it. He got it....who knows where. My wife got it from him at home. None of the three others in our immediate household got it and we had direct contact for several days before we know either were positive. Both had mild cold symptoms and lost sense of taste and smell, but nothing else. We were lucky, but we were also not a high risk group (hence our response and recovery was....APPROPRIATE to the threat).
I just don't understand the hysteria and over reaction to Covid. They are treating...or HYPING it like it is the Spanish Flu or the black death, which it absolutely is not. It really makes me wonder what the true agenda is behind this.
I do not doubt it is a real disease. I do not doubt that is is contagious. I do not doubt that it can be and is deadly especially to certain groups. I do doubt that we have responded appropriately.
Rant over.
I was really just looking forward to hockey this year...as a small step back toward normalcy, as a excuse to step away to the fantasy of winning hockey, as a break from the shitty year last year.
But no.....they gonna ruin hockey again this year and repeat the hysteria of last year.
