10 out of next 11 Caps games (thru the end of March) are against losing teams. Well, I don't mean losing teams but rather....teams in the bottom 4 of the division. The other one game is vs the Islanders who have come on and overtaken 1st place. Also the Islanders are the only team in NHL who has not lost a single game in regulation at home this season. (10-0-1) Good thing we play them four times in their barn in April.
April won't be as friendly with 16 games in 30 days and we play several contenders....
Islanders 5 games (1 home, 4 in NY)
Boston 4 games (2 home, 2 away)
Philty 2 games (1 home, 1 away)
Shitsburg 1 game (home)
Devils 2 games (2 away)
Buffalo 2 games (1 home, 1 away)
If the Caps are going to be a playoff team, they need to pound the teams in March and take as many points as they can, cause April is going to be a whole lot harder. Just hope the Caps don't go in to that coast against bad teams mentality.
