 O-O  Once they're all healthy I wonder if it'll be Malenstyn or Milano getting the itch therapy? (Phillips is a lock for healthy scratch, imo)

I think Milano just not quite ready.   I would certainly assume once he is..PHillips is the scratch.
When TJ comes back....dunno.  I would keep Malenstyn on line 4.  Milano is def NOT a 4th liner...or all that responsible defensively anyway I think.


Actually I'm surprised they split McMike and Mantha up...they been doing well together.  Why F with the one surprise line that is actually scoring more than expected.
Looks like they trying to suggest to Kuzy that he needs a wakeup putting him on L3?

Carbs looking for spark/fire with a bunch of damp wood. They need an actual play maker to get Ovi going. Strome is decent, but he's no Nicky. Kuzy used to be, but he aint it either. He'll keep arranging the deck chairs, but they still gonna sink eventually. Gotta find some actual "TALENT" that's not burnt out.

I just don't get Phillips getting anymore starts!  He is just taking a spot that could go to someone else that might actually develop into a long-term keeper.  Maybe they don't want to give Miro that many games for contract reasons?  Isn't there a rule that if they play 10 or more games, they burn a year of contract eligibility?  That could explain Miro, but there have to be other guys like Frank, or Sgrabosa, or some others on Hershey that should get a shot.  I'm done with Phillips!!!

I don’t remember exactly, but yes, there is a ten game rule for some minor league contracts. It would take some research to find out if Miro is in that category.

I like Phillips, he has great energy and drive. I think he’s just too small for the NHL. He’s smaller than Martin St Louis. Maybe management is keeping him around hoping that energy wears off on the rest of the squad.

Yesterday a neighbor dropped off some “Portuguese style egg nog”, which she said has no egg in it. I figured it should probably be put in the fridge. This evening I pull it out and I got a jar of pudding. It didn’t have to warm up much to become a liquid again, and it’s not bad, could use a tad more rum though.
