Who was in net when we beat them damn Knights?
Charlie, who else?
He's been standing on his head in recent Caps victories with him in net. He's athletic, but small, and as much as he thrashes around it isn't surprising that he has injury issues.
He's never been seen as anything other than a backup goalie, and he looks as though he can be good at it -- IF his workload is managed. But Carbery seems like a coach who will lean on guys if/when they are producing. His TOI management was good in the back-to-back this week, but if he sees a day or two (or more) off coming up he isn't shy about playing guys heavy minutes if he feels they are playing well.
