oh yeah, NO WAY that was an accident🤣But it was really just message sending, he didn’t do much more push him, if he really wanted to do damage he could of utterly destroyed him
No and I have no problem with hitting the player that was hurt he made a play on the puck.
oh I know you wouldn’t, but the Habs fans and the “Today’s NHL” folks probably would
The league is a bunch of pussies.Which reminds me. I was wondering what everyones opinion is about Matheson getting suspended for his hit on Petterson.I thought the hit itself was fine. The bodyslam after the hit may have been too much but its nothing more than a roughing penalty. If the guy was more than 175lbs it wouldnt be an issue. It looks like the league is going to try to protect the new undersized soft players. Makes me sick. Rush said it correctly. This is the pussification of the NHL.
1. This was awesome!!!2. In no way, shape or form, should that get a suspension, even in a girls 12&under rec league 3. Looks like Peterson took some hints from Cindy on how to embellish
I watched it again and Matheson doesn't really body slam the guy. Peterson was off balance and Matheson just sort of pushes him to the ice. It's not Matheson's fault the guy was off balance. It's not like it picked him up and slammed him or even road him to ice driving his elbow into the guy's face. This is called a good solid check payback for making me look bad skating circles around me 5 seconds ago.
So I watched the DPS propaganda explanation of this suspension. What was the injury to Peterson? The DPS video is much better as slow mo at seeing the hit. Peterson did not even tap his head on the ice. How was he injured? Did he get a shoulder injury? Did he miss a game?Getting the wind knocked out of you or getting your bell rung is not an injury (i'm not talking full on concussion here). I realize we want to protect players and especially the head, but there was no trauma to the head on this play. The DPS video says "this is not a hockey play". Um....yes it is. This is what happens when you are smaller and faster and skate circles around people.....eventually the bigger stronger guys get a chance to catch you.Are we going to make rules that say the big strong guys are no longer allowed to check the smaller faster guys?I am not advocating unnecessary violence, but I want my hockey back
They say he has a concussion. From the replay I never saw his head make contact with the glass or the ice. It is possible to sustain a concussion without contact to the head. Your head snapping back from a collision could do that. I didnt see anything like that here.
My guess is if there wasn't that pushing motion it wouldn't have been an issue.
These linesman outta be fined and firedit’s two non-figthers, not Reeves and Tyler Hall. There’s no reason not to let em go, except maybe feminism
