and the Hens acquired probably the best fighter in the league, for a lousey 4th round pick.    Way to man up GMBetaMale.

Jamie Oleksiak is a puss for attacking a guy he's got 6-inches and 60 lbs. on in Brandon Manning.
Be careful what you ask for America; you just might get it.

For as mild mannered as Brower is, in his interviews, I wouldn’t have thought he had much fight in him. Then when I first saw him drop gloves, when he was here with the Caps, he payed a whopper of a hay-maker on a guy, maybe a San Jose game?, and damn near KO’d the dude as his helmet came off!! Awesome!

Hey Everyone,

We spilt up a few threads to make them more efficient:

Washington Capitals Highlight Reel Goals, Sickest Fights, & Incredible Saves.
(for all Caps)

Other games around the league 17-18
(Everyone Else)

and

Fight Instigation:  Fight Highlights
for the obvious!

This one is for great (including funny) fights, regardless of the league   ;D

Justin Williams has been in two fights this year, his previous was in 2015, which was only his 5th in the league.

Looks like  Mr Game 7 has to assume enforcing duties for Carolina. . .
(hell he is  toughest on the team. . .)

I've always wanted Beiksa on the Caps. . .as always he's worth pursuing (as the Ducks may be sellers),. . .but, he's not a soft Puck Mover so theres minimal chance. . .

Second bout:

I haven't heard much about Ritchie, but he looks formidable . . .

BTW  notice the times on these three fights:
-2:29
-2:31
-2:33

Bettman was probably curled up in his safe pace clutching his stuffed unicorn after hearing about this . . .

Knowledge is knowing that the Tomato is a fruit; Wisdom is knowing that you shouldn't include it in a Fruit Salad; Philosophy is wondering if a Bloody Mary counts as smoothie

Nice scrap, I would be more impressed by Deslos questionable if not flat out cheap shots if there was a long history between them, the team, or a major incident.  Without that it’s just trying to get attention and doing anything you can to win, with judging by his nose lacked much strategy

And lastly,

Number 6

It’s great to see players be men, stand up for escher, answering the bell, and charged with adrenaline. Not the demasculated, blindly-obiedant, figure skating, soy-boys Bettman and his incompotent cabal that try to “clean up the game” by marketing effeminate passifits.

6 fights in one game is impressive. Dont see that very often anymore. I like it.
