Nope.  I'm a D man.  Led the men's league in PIMS one year though for real.  Cracked a rib on a team mate in scrimmage too- but that was a freak accident really - barely hit him.  Quickly got the goon tag for it (mostly as a joke) but it never left me.  This was over 30 years ago
Skated last year for like 1/2 hour.  That muscle memory must have left with the muscles.  Oof.  It was painful.  Don't remember it being painful way back when/
Luckily, my son's girlfriend fell and whopped her head but good so we had to quit.  She had a serious goose egg on her eyebrow.  Fun was not had by all that day.
Ill stick to armchair critiques at this point. (especially since they are so widely respected)

I played roller hockey back in the day.  I did ice skate a few times and that was much easier.

All I could find today without watching a podcast is two guys missed practice. I figured it was Kuzy and TvR again. I have since read that TvR is likely to be a game time decision Wednesday night.

In other news I saw where the Oilers are putting Jack Campbell (goalie 5m x5) on waivers today.. Wonder what happens to his cap hit if he clears and is sent down?

If he clears waivers, they still eating 100% of that cap hit.  I'm sure his its a 1-way contract so his "minors" salary is the same.
The Oilers have been snake bit with goalie issues.  If the Oilers had a good goalie in the past couple seasons, they could have a cup.  Goaltending cost them in the playoffs both the last two years.
I was frustrated watching them and thinking...man they are so close, but they need a real goaltender.  I think the younger guy was like Dr Jeckly and Mr hyde.

With 19 going on LTIR here shortly, I think it really changes the Mantha situation.  It will now be feasible to retain a lot more salary in trade and open up a lot more options.

Unless were very "close" around the deadline, I'd just leave him on the 4th line, let it play out, save money/picks and bid him farewell at seasons end.

yep...leave Mantha alone and just ride it.  IF a PERFECT scenario arises with a Center available then great, but I don't see it.  At least there is some cap salary to play with for a change IF it were needed at the deadline.  (as if)

Im okay with Alexeyev full time.  Id give a sweater to Alexeyev before Aktell.  I guess they will both play with TVR out.  Unless they give Lucas Johansen a shot
