I thought our PP's and PK's were very sloppy.  Some credit has to go to Minny for not letting us get set up, but c'mon!  That was shabby and lazy play for the most part.
We spent an awfull lot of time in our own zone and couldn't seem to get out.   WHY?  Is it one or two people, or a collective/coaching problem?  Either way, it's an issue.
I thought Copley was great tonight.  Again.

After that, he dropped the gloves in response to Tagliano's challenge, right off the face off.   Credit also to Tags, for going for it.
It would have been really easy for Tags to just walk away and leave Willy with an instigator penalty - Willy having dropped his gloves first.  I appreciate that sort of sportsmanship.

  yep, reasonable idea, terrible execution.  In all fairness though, it worked better than other countries that tried socialized medicine  (hmm maybe that’s why the players having to wait for months to see an MD is why the NHL has gotten so pansy?  Heh I jest Maaco, I hear it’s better than Europe, where it was four months and now “refuges” get to cut in front.


Regardless, good game, hell any game <=2 GAA this year is good

Yes he has really looked good in the recent games he has played.  I think he has demonstrated that he can fill the backup goalie position which was one of the big questions coming into the season.

Well, goalies CAN go into and out of funks, so it's early to declare without qualification that Copley is the answer.  But yes, the early returns look good.  We have been used to having both starting and backup goalies of unquestioned NHL quality for some years now so it's a little discomforting to go into a season with a question about even a backup.  But this organization has brought a lot of quality goalies through the system and made mostly the right decisions about who to keep, who to move, and when to jettison them.
