I watched about 10 minutes of Pocono, after last week I’m done. Used to be they’d start the race early enough for everyone to get dinner at a decent hour. Last week was the first race I’ve watched flag to flag in about 15 years, the race took over 4 hours and I ended up eating well after 8pm. This for what was supposed to be a “short” race. Fuck these 3pm starts.

For sure 3pm starts suck.. They're trying their best to get back to the "Hey Day", but w/o doing anything that actually worked, back in the hey day. 1pm starts and some old southeast tracks (Rockingham, Wilkesboro, Nashville Fairgrounds, etc.) would be nice, but all they want to do is try different road racing shit and keep the start times late for the west coast fans.. (who showed up for about 3 years before abandoning them) lol

And Joe should really be firing whoever thought they could cheat up a part of the car they KNEW could be unwrapped in post race tech.. It's about the dumbest cheat I've ever heard of.. And of course golden boy gets another win out of it..  :clown: :poop:

and now instead of running a boring ass race at Road America, they are going to use that date for a street race in Chicago for the next three years  ::)

Dude, I hope they didn't sign a 3 year deal with Chicago.. I feel like anything on a street course is gonna be boring, like a Monaco F1 race.  RA is an awesome road course if the cars perform. And the fans pack the place and still lose the race.. (Same with Pocono.. You notice how packed those stands were? And always are.. But they lost a date, cause it's not a "nascar" owned track) :-\

from what I’ve read, it’s a three year deal in Chicago. Now I gotta find the over/under on how many people get shot during the event

The first year at Road America the place was packed, second year attendance wasn’t nearly as much but still a good crowd for the track. I expect the same for Chicago, and the third year to not draw much at all.

Well....I didn't want him back.  He definitely lost something with the injury and never got back to peak.
I am only a bit surprised in the deal in that is not a 2-way deal.  Kempny is barely NHL quality at this point.

Look at Rich, talkin about hockey and shit..  :raspberry:

Those dumbasses at JGR added a fucking 2x5" piece of tape (.012 inches thick) under the wrap.. Tape, under what is pretty much, tape. Fucking morons.  I mean, if your gonna cheat, at least do something that's gonna make the car faster. They were basically trying to reinforce an area that cracks easily if you hit something.. Oof.

I’ve been hearing this for a few weeks, I can’t find a good print article about it so here’s another video..

Two words...Salt, Wound.

Ziggy signs 5 years with Devils for $3.4m per

Fucking A - we paid a 31 year old Shultz $4.0m per for 2 years and we could have kept a (then) 23 year old Ziggy and had him for 5 years at 3.4?

Ooh-Fah.

Nothing against Shultz, he was decent for us, but I think definitely in decline in coming seasons.  Ziggy is just starting to hit his prime.

Fucking Johnny Q Carlson makes 8.0m per year and the Caps' 5 other D combined make 11.4.  Something doesn't add up here

Nats are 34w, 66L through 100 games.  Worst record in baseball.  And probably for the first time in Nats history, I have not watched a single inning of a single game.

No fucking wonder Soto (one of the very best players in baseball) does not want their $440 million dollars.

Sum bitch will probably sign with Dodgers where he has a legit shot at winning it all....again.....and again.

What the hell is the problem with Washington major sports teams?  Does the corrupt city really rub off this much?

Well, that Indy Road Course was a shit show..  :O=  That was a full-on commercial for how they've ruined the sport with green/white/checkers, stage cautions, playoffs.. They entire field drove like clowns at every opportunity. Go back to the oval or up the road to IRP or something..

I was just watching a couple “highlights”, couldn’t help but notice the massive crowd at the track
