You are wrong. Watch the fucking replay. That is exactly was Sammy was supposed to do. Schultz had position but gave it up. It is 100 % on Schultz.
If you have ever played goal you would know that Sammy was not at fault there.

If Sammy stuck to doing his job, ie being a goalie, it wouldn't have mattered if Schultz gave it up or not.    He would have been in position to defend his net.  He wasn't.  He was tring to be a smart arse.

NO YOU ARE!   I watched it 2x.. That's plenty! Turn on hockey twitter and tell the world they're all wrong!  :)
I'm not wrong.  I watched the play several times. Sammy stopped the puck for Schultz.  But he took a poor angle.
Maybe they weren't on the same page. But Schultz did have position and he gave it up.

Either way, it’s the shit that happens by the 5th period when you’ve been skated into the ice during the 4th.

And what do you think a goaltenders job is? Part of his job is playing the puck for his defensemen.
I know Sammy isn't the best at it but his defensemen have to help out more than that.

Sammy shouldnt' have been out of his net with a Bruin on the hunt in the first place.  What about that do you not understand.   Oh wait.....   everything, it seems

I've watched it 10 times. Sammy stopped the puck for Schultz. He had position but for some reason gave it up.
There must have been some miscommunication.

Boston looks faster, crisper, hungrier.  We look old and tired with a few exceptions.  Having said that, no excuse for that Dowd penalty that let them tie it.  As well as he's played, that was a real dumb play.

I have no doubt there is a serious miscommunication, but it wasn't on the ice

In that case, he should of banged it around the boards or stayed in his net. He misplays the puck about 80% of the time, so I'd of rather he just stayed in his net. But again, it was gonna happen one way or another. We ran out of gas at the 58-60 minute mark..

His PRIMARY and FIRST job is to defend his net.

WRONG. Schultz was the guy that had position. Not the Bruins player. For some unknown reason Schultz just let the guy by him and take the puck.
It looked like Schultz thought Sammy was going to play it to the corner

I think Schultz thought Sammy was going to play it off the boards. It seemed he veered off to his right and lost position.
There is no way I'm blaming the goaltender for this. Our goalies aren't great puck handlers. All they should be doing is stopping the puck for our defencemen behind the net.
Samsonov made that exact same play several times during the game.

there is absolutely no reason to keep beating this horse

I think that's exactly what Schultz thought. Ovi as well.. He broke his stick and went off on Sammy afterward.
