Right. So, he was a free agent 9 months ago but now we just had to have him so why not give up a draft pick? Sure seems like current management has a plan but wtf is it?!

To be realistic, if it's not a high first round pick, this club really doesn't know what their doing anyway.. And even then they come up short half the time. They'll play this game of trading picks for trash and signing guys for way too much/way too long until we finally become the Redskins.. Future bright, ami right?

If GMBM has proven one thing is that he knows nothing about defensemen. Aboslutely nothing:


Signs Orpik and Nisky At way over-market contracts. The rest of the league is shocked.


Trade deadline deal for Gleason - a total stiff.


Trade deadline deal for Shattenkirk, giving away the farm for what proved to be one of the worst defensemen to ever wear a Caps uniform.


Totally screws up the expansion draft and exposes Schmidt who would be our best defenseman this year and for years to come.


Now, he lets Chorney go for nothing. I bet Pittsburg picks him up.

I have a friend that worked for danny boy during Gibbs 2.0. I was told Gibbs quit because of the mess that is that front office. Since Monumental is a committee I'm at least hopeful this front office is capable of learning something, maybe.

That doesn't really help the Caps break the pattern of singing players that are too small physically, Caps should sign a couple of the Canadian defensemen thou, they got pretty good size

There can’t be much to that.  I doubt BetaMale would trade a popular player, fron hit most popular trade that he just resigned. . .
