Interfere? You watch that shit live, as in commercials and all?  Live sport is the only thing I watch with commercials. DVR and FF that shit!

I've got shit to do during the commercials, like drain and refill

the fact that Eller didn't even practice tells me his injury regressed, not good

Caps play tomorrow, Thursday, at 7pm at home  :uh-huh:

Yep, have the same feeling. Pretty sure he was on the ice last week. Hopefully it's not the nads. The nads are sensitive!  :uh-huh:

then there's what Caps fans have known for a couple of decades....

https://novacapsfans.com/2021/03/24/nhl-reviewing-hot-mic-comment-made-by-referee-in-predators-red-wings-game/

but don't pay attention to the guy that exposed the policy..

https://novacapsfans.com/2021/03/24/nhl-fires-official-tim-peel-for-comment-made-over-hot-mic-in-last-nights-predators-red-wings-game/
Every hockey fan knows that even up calls are part of the game. It has been ever since I started watching. The league knows it too.
I'm not saying what Tim Peel did was right but he is doing the same as every other ref in the league. The only difference is that he got caught and the league is throwing him under the bus to save their reputation.
Yes I completely disagree with the league firing him. Fine him or maybe suspend him. He isn't the first ref to mess up and won't be the last.

I agree.  Make up calls are Refs way of admitting they missed or F'd up earlier.  It's embarrassing but that's about it.  NHL is blind if they think firing him sends a message to fans that this isn't status quo or not tolerated.
Now if he'd said " I called a weak one on him cause I hate that Fucking team or...I got money on this one, then okay fire him, but this isn't really appropriate response to the incident

Caps win
Isles win (beat Boston in OT)
fucking Hens win (vs Buffalo)
Rangers win (spanked Philthy 8-3) and Zibanejad had another 6pt night and another natural hattrick.  Game was 6-0 about 2 min into 2nd period.  Zibad has 6 goals and 6 assists in EACH his last 2 games vs Philthy.  12 of his 26 points in 2 games

East is really tough this year.  As well as the Caps have played in the last 15 games (12-2-1)...they are in second place and the Hens and Boston just few points behind them.

Isles and Hens have played 2 more games than Caps (and most everyone else) except Boston has played 2 fewer than Caps.

Go Caps.

it’s actually pretty amazing that more races haven’t been rained out over the years

Yea, it's catching up with em' the last 15 years or so, since they quit starting races at 1pm est. Bristol spring race is notorious for delays, but the track normally dries real quick being so banked and only 1/2 mile. I'll be surprised if they can get it in shape by noon tomorrow though, with the dirt on it.

most people think NASCAR started in the bootlegging south after ford created the flathead V8. In reality it’s roots are 3000 years old, and the height of popularity was about 300 anno Domini in Rome with four horse power....
