I don't get it.  I'm hoping he's nursing something, but I seriously doubt it.  I know he is young, but he has been solid this year.  It's like if a younger player has a small dip in success they bench him for a month.  If a veteran sucks all season, they play him and hope he will improve.

Really don't see the love affair with Jensen especially, or Gudas or Kempny.. They could find a sweater for Sigs if they wanted to. Maybe they're superstitious and since we've stole 2 games in a row.. Yay??

while all the Ruskis are buzzing around Kovy, I hope some of them are looking after Dillon.

OK - I have been holding off on joining the bandwagon on bashing Rierdon - but this does it.  Ziggy has absolutely been our best defensive Dman this year.  I realize that is not a high bar, but he has been really good and deserves to play. 


Rierdon and Caps management have always favored guys that  are more established that they put under contract.  They rarely if ever bench a veteran for performance reasons.  They had the perfect chance this game as Kempney made an incredibly boneheaded play last game that directly resulted in a goal. It was so bad he should have not played another shift!


The organization just can't make the tough decisions and as a result, our veterans are "comfortable".  The result is that they play hard when they feel like playing hard and coast along in other games.  With this inconsistency, Rierdon has shown himself to be a "yes-man", who management will ironically fire after this year.

I guess my complaints over the years finally made sense to somebody, 106.7 just switched over to hockey
