I agree.  I thought the Caps were the better team and had it not been for Halak we would have won the game in regulation.  I still can’t believe he made that stop on Wilson.  The Caps had 44 SOG and a total of 66 shot attempts. Boston only had 23 SOG and only 45 shot attempts.  This really was one of the best games the Caps have played this season.  True Boston was missing Bergeron and Krug two of their best players but those are the breaks.

I'm with you two on this. I thought they played great. It was an awesome game to watch. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Glad to see the NHL finally, after many hours, got their standings corrected.

The Caps are playing well right now, they are 15-3-4, and that's after all but ruining the table on their west coast tour, which are all damn good teams. To be concerned about the playoffs now, which are 5 months away, is a waste of energy. There are always things they could be doing better. The only thing of concern is the way they are up against the salary cap, but that will be fixed at the conclusion of this season with the Seatle entry draft.
