Sucks that there is no supplemental. If they REALLY want to change it, then IF a player is injured on what is deemed "an illegal hit", then there should be a mandatory suspension. Leave the random wheel of justice out of it.
I mean, its a rough sport and guys are going to suffer injury, but IF it is from a truly illegal hit and not incidental contact, then make it an automatic suspension when guys are actually injured (with a legit injury)
Caps have enough "lack of effort" issues without losing Oshie.
I just don't think the Caps have it this year. I expected (and still hope) they get by Carolina, but not enough clicking and falling into place for a real run IMO.

I agree that the Caps just don't have that "on a mission" look like last year. It looks more like "ready for golf." Watching the other series, I think just about any Western conference team would kick the snot out of us if we ever made it that far.
