BIG WIN.  Overall a good game by Caps, they finally scored against Geise but I thought we had more quality scoring chances than the Islanders.

Yes, but this was the best game in some time. The beginning was more the Isles coming out hard and fast than the Caps slacking and then the non offside call to get them the goal.

That was a solid game.. You're never gonna not give up -any- chances, which they did in the 1st, but last 2 periods were pretty convincing. Good to see em' respond in a big game. TR learning experience, biggest win so far!! They still do stupid shit too much, but is what it is..

Good game caps. I though they had the better chances even before finally scoring. Good to see them play a very well played game. I can't think of any player who had a "bad" game. Orlov with a bonehead pass but pretty well played by all

Orlov has been making too many sloppy passes though, like his game has regressed.

At this point I've got to think GMBM is just going to let him walk after this season. For someone that was supposed to be a solid 2nd liner, he is barely holding on to the 3rd. Hagelin is playing well on the 4th and at this point of the season I wouldn't change that. But next season I expect him to move up, which would put Bura on the 4th if he stays. At $3M cap hit (not sure that's right, but that's what I found) he's not hateful, but they need someone more consistent, and that could possibly win faceoffs.
