I’ve only been following the Caps for 12 years and I know how happy I am.   I know there are a number of posters [OH, DC, Mick, “Lil”, etc] who’ve been following the Caps a lot longer than I have and I’m happy for all Caps fans, especially those who have lived through so lows to reach this peak.

Watching Ovi hug Backstrom was pretty special. Then when Beagle was handed the Cup.....well, its all very emotional.

Same sentiment from me...I'm new to Caps and hockey (5 yrs), so don't have as much heartbreak stored up as several others.  Hats off to long-term fans whose painful history with this team is much longer than mine.

12 years is a long time.  I went to my first games in 1976. Now that's a really long time.I am in tears and so happy for thee guys and for all the fans.
