    What really should have happened, was the ref should have blown the play long before the goal and given both guys penalties.

I dont know about that.... i didn't see any egregious high shots or slashes... looked relatively clean... maybe you can argue for a cross check.... but i don't think i want to see it go that way.... if you are near the crease... you need to pay the price.... unfortunately, we didn't make them pay enough and it cost us...
