Looks like the bumperboards are dead, glad I found this place...looks active.  Nothing to contribute about the draft but looking forward to it!

active is a relative term with the Caps missing the playoffs

There’s 32 picks in round 1, even with some pomp and circumstance this shouldn’t take more than 2-2 1/2 hours. The NHL is going to drag this out to midnight.

Well, this guy is the skill guy in the first half of the first round with an attitude closest to Tom Wilson.  So if you like grit and in-your-face play, here's another guy to root for.

That’s the kind of player needed in the playoffs.

Oh well, they (espn) talked him up pretty good anyway. Anything that resembles #43 is ok in my book. Said something about another year in college though, so as usual, nothing of impact for a couple years.

Love this pick. Glad they didn't give away a lot to get Michkov.  This guy is being compared to Wilson, but he is a much better skater, has good hands and should have more upside. Instead of drafting small guys like McMichael and Lapierre, Leonard has big body and is still growing.  Love this pick!!
