no word on the Columbus yet though I kinda expect the same

no word from Mick yet, hard to say for sure but it didn’t look that bad where he is. By the time the center of rotation got to his area winds were about half what they were at landfall. But central Florida is pretty flat, not a lot places for that much rain to drain to.

Welp, survived another one!    Fucking Ian was the biggest pain in the ass I've seen in the 25 years I've lived here. It destroyed Ft Meyers with wind (and flood) and all the way through Central Fl with floods. 15" of rain in 36 hours here.. It's stupid how much shit is flooded, ruined or gone. They don't expect the river to crest/recede for nearly a month. lol (from fishing it for 25 years, my guess is it'll be mid December before any local boat ramps are back open) Im shocked (and grateful) they got our power back on in just 3 days time. Saving grace was when it was gone it sucked a cold front from the north down, so our weather/temps have been absolutely beautiful!! 63-80 and no humidity. (pretty much unheard of in Fl. this time of year) Unfortunately there's lots of people who can't enjoy any of it as their lives have been forever altered by that fucker. Praying for the less fortunate. If ya'll been watching the news, you know what I mean..
