Yes, unlike you when I said Carlson is the contract that the Caps could most easily replace.care to go on
Actually Carlson is the contract that would be one of the toughest to replace because it would be hard to find a team to take that contract. You have to admit that is a pretty big contract for a defenceman his age. I think we are stuck with it.
I value the majority of opinions. I'd say 95% of them.
Exactly why he should NOT be protected in the upcoming draft. If he truly is this perennial Norris candidate, then Seatle will take that contract. Which will give the Caps the room needed to resign everyone else plus another top Dman.
based on your posting history, this is a false statement
If he was left unprotected, Seattle would take him in a heartbeat but I don't think that is going to happen. I realize he has a high salary, probably a bit too high but he is a valuable asset to this team. I don't think he could be easily replaced. To replace him with a similar player you would be paying a similar salary. And replacing him might mean losing some team chemistry. He fits in well with this team. I wouldn't mess around with it. I'm not a big Carlson fan but I think he is going to be here awhile.

Wait whut. He's over paid?Well duh
I do agree that he shouldn't have been given that kind of money. That's what makes him almost unmoveable.
oh, one more thing then I'm done beating this horseEvery. Single. Time. you change a player you change the team chemistry.
I do recall you saying he was worth $10M a year. Too bad the old site isn't accessible.
Wtf are you talking about?
I don't recall saying that. Not saying I didn't. I do get on here and rant when I've been drinking. Like now.
I don't understand how this is a difficult concept to you.A very recent example would be Vrana being replaced with Mantha. That changes the team chemistry.
lol, ok
Hey come on. Be nice.Yes I understand changing a player changes team chemistry. I think my point was if the chemistry is there, why fuck wit it?
somehow I don't think that was your point tonight, maybe a few more beers will clear it up for yougoodnight, see you tomorrow at puck drop
