They're missing 8 players too..    Guess this is the blueprint on how to beat the Caps. Hope more teams start doing it so maybe Reirden comes up with a plan.. Cause when the playoffs start, they'll all be slowing the game down, clogging the passing lanes, forechecking..

I had more excitement the last few hours watching my new 14TB hard drive formatting than watching this game.  I told my Dad before the game that we  were playing a sucky team that we should easily beat, so we would probably lose.  He did not understand that one, but he doesn't know the Caps.

We've overcome a lot of the bad traits we had years ago, but the one that still sticks with us is that a goalie can get in our heads when he makes a lot of good saves early.  It's like we get so frustrated we don't do the smart things like go hard to the net, set solid screens, bang him a few times, etc.  Instead we say, "ok, I'm going to show you I can still snipe it by you."  That don't work when a guy is really in the zone.  Like Einstein's definition of insanity.
