It means he caused the first goal with needless theatrics.
As I said before, it's not his style to playact for drama so I give him the benefit of the doubt that getting hit from the side in the crease caused him to turn and his instinct was to complete the turn rather than try to turn back. I guess we can agree to disagree.
I DO, however, agree on the stick checking crap. In the first period we were hitting hard, like Ovie's check that led to the first goal, but after he got called for the high one they have largely stopped. Can't win scared of penalties.
I also agree we should be seeing Boyd. Stephenson is fine and can PK but Boyd is an upgrade so I'm not sure why Rierden is playing Stephenson.
