Well the good news is the Caps don't have to play Columbus next IF the Caps manage to show up again and actually play the Canes.  (Not counting any chickens here)


I'd much rather play the Isles (than Columbus)... and think we match up pretty good against them EXCEPT for the coaching factor.  It won't help our chances how well Trotz knows us.
I'm not dissing on the Isles, but I'd choose them to play over ANY team left in the East.


Oh yeah and on the Hens getting swept....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.......AHHHHHHHHH HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Was incredibly torn during game 4 of the Isles - Pens.   Wanted that series to go 6 or 7 to wear them out if we get past the Canes, but also wanted to see the Pens get embarassingly swept.

In the end, watching the Pens lose, on home ice, in round one, and heading to the golf course in April was a beautiful thing.

However, they will be at of the negative effect of a sweep:  the long wait til the next round.  By no means is it certain, but we’ve all seen teams that get done early, cool off.


Otherwise, Bs and CBJ would be FUN!!
