I don't make font changes.  I just type and rant and rant and rant and type and then want to change something
like when i have multiple lines of rant (I mean hard, honest fact-based opinion) and then somewhere I decided to delete a space between like two lines of text
so i go to the end of say line 3 of text and hit delete key to delete a blank space before line 4
and it reduces all the text following where I hit the delete key to a minute size too small to read
so then I go back and manual change the font size to make it big enough to see.
I am on my PC at work - using google Chrome (if that matters at all)
Lets see if this works.... :b:

I will leave a blank space above and keep typing and
then I will go back and hit delete key.

See.  It shrank the text.  Well it appears it is larger, but usually it is so small you can't see it (insert your own image here)
It also changes the font.

I did not do anything except delete a blank space (line)

Oh and thanks....I always forget about the "more" emojis.

This is the Shocked Face emoji.

There is also this OMG! emoji on the "[more]" popup window.

Regarding your font changing when you hit backspace. I never have that issue, nor can I replicate it. The only way I can see the font "changing" when you backspace is if you backspace across the transition from one font  to another font. This is not really changing, but only picking up the font type at the point you stopped backspacing. One easy way to avoid issues is to type your message and make your font changes at the end. You have to really be careful if you cut and paste text of various font types around in your post. This can start to confuse the editor. The best thing is to keep it simple.  Making font changes at the end will prevent any issues.

FWIW AJ, happens to me too! I finish the text. Then go back and edit, or backspace, maybe add a comma, or something, and the rest of the sentence in the paragraph shrinks the size of the letters. Then, when I actually post it, it say that 78% stuff, that I don’t understand.
Not that big a deal to me, but if it’s correctable, that would be cool!

Let me add also that it doesn’t occur all the time. It’s the randomness that is hard to figure out!

Hey Alta!
Honest answer is that I never got outta bed before 10:45-11:00, except one day! My sons had me slam a few extras with their buds.  Old man pride was the only reason I was able to half keep up with them! LOL.  I did pay the physical price, though, for sure!

Text Fudge happens on PC/Chrome and Edge as well.. If you go back into edit (modify) you can remove the codes, highlight the text then change the font size to get it back to normal.. If you so choose.. Sometimes it's fubar but most times a quick edit will correct it or at least make it readable. The hard part is highlighting just the tinyasssfuckingtext so you can edit it. Usually it's so small it just looks like a little solid line..

Well, for those of you looking for more ruggedness on the blue line, Dion Phaneuf's future with the Kings is looking cloudy.  You can have him for a mere $7 million AAV.

For those who complain about bad contracts that the Caps had/have on the books, try this one on for size.

I'd offer an even trade, Carlson for Phaneuf and still trade Bura off. That should leave enough room to pick up another half decent Dman

You me, and 29 GMs would trade Carlson for Phanuef, particularly when most of the other Dman are 5th forwards

your account was opened from a MD location so I know this isn't Maaco.

Why can't I be serious? I don't see an $8M a year player in Carlson.

Phaneuf isn't a $7 player any more, let alone a $7 million player.  Lots of hockey players reach a point where they lose what capabilities they had and fall off the map.  Phaneuf is seemingly in that death spiral now.  No GM with ANY sanity would trade Carlson for him straight up.

There is a reason none of us are GMs. That doesn't mean we can't have a valid opinion. I have noticed I'm not the only one that feels this way about Carlson, yet for some reason I am the only one that gets called out for having a low opinion of him. Has Carlson looked like an $8M a year player this season? My opinion is not even remotely. Which makes it an even trade for someone who would be a lower cap hit that actually plays defense. If not an even trade, how else do you get rid of an over payed player?

So what you are saying is that we should trade a defenseman who many people who follow hockey closely consider to be one of the top 5 or 6 defenseman in the entire league for a defenseman who isn’t even one of the top 6 defenseman for a team that has one of the worse records in the league.  That makes a lot of sense, not.

here’s a compromise then:
Carlson for Bret Burns straight up. Salaries are even, but SJS would hang up the phone on us

Burns is a not only superior Dman but a superior total player to Carlson.

And it’s more than his 10points more. it’s that he actually plays D, and generally excellently.  He’s also a physical specimen at 6”5 230

At 8mil. Burns is a STEAL.
