In the after practice presser this morning, coach said same lines as last game, but Thompson in net. Skate Shavings at Caps dot com says otherwise.

Milano has been skating the last couple days, but coach says he’s still a ways out.

It appears the team is rotating who wears the 3rd “A”. Since no one cares to report on it we will have to wait until game time to see who gets it tonight.

Slashing calls are ridiculous at this point.  You touch a guys gloves or even get close and its slashing.   You can whack the back of a hockey glove as hard as you want and hardly feel it through the glove.
Taking one between the glove and elbow pad on the forearm hurts like a bugger, but a tap on the back of the hand is meaningless.
And I'm also annoyed at the tendency for guys to fake like it hurts to draw a penalty....THIS AINT FUCKING SOCCER AND WE DONT WANT IT TO BE!  All the old school hockey guys must be rolling in their graves when they see this soccer on ice bullshit
