So, what’s next for Sergei Bobrovsky and the Columbus Blue Jackets?Both sides have moved on since an incident in Tampa Bay Tuesday night when the club’s top goaltender was pulled by Columbus coach John Tortorella and Sunday night Bobrovsky is expected to return to the net against the New York Rangers after serving what was effectively a one-game suspension.
Scheduled to become a unrestricted free agent on July 1, the trouble in Tampa started after Bobrovsky didn’t return to the bench when he was yanked with 8:53 left in the third period after allowing four goals on 19 shots in the Jackets 4-0 loss.

It may not be a coincidence that the Caps have had an "off game" on a night when Tom Wilson didn't fill up the scoresheet, even though he played as much as any other forward. Was he generally invisible tonight?

It really is hard to stomach night in and night out how they call these goddamn games. The call on OV was perhaps the most ridiculous call of the season. He's trying to put his skate out to regain the blue line and that's interference? Fuck that noise.

Certainly not our best game but better than one would think reading all the hatred on these boards.
Make sure all you guys that are fed up with this team don’t watch any more games...especially when we get into the playoffs. Afterall, the Caps suck and have no chance so you might as well not waste your time watching this train wreck of a season. (27-12-5)
For the first time in I can remember, the Caps outshot opposition and won more face offs. I thought they were sluggish but also very patient and did not panick. OT is always a crapshoot and the penalty was lame, but overall the refs swallowed the whistle the third period. (Should have been a call in Oshie trip but meh...there were several times Caps could have been called near the end and weren’t.
Lighten up peeps. I’ll take the point.

Damn! I just saw that the Islanders smoked the Lightning 5-1. Barry has gotten that team on track. They are coming up fast in the standings. Among many other tough teams on our schedule for the rest of this month we get the Islanders at home this Friday. The rest of this month is going to be huge for us one way or another. It's time to come to each game ready to play a full 60min.
I'm a little surprised nobody mentioned the BJ's "celebration" after the GWG in OT. I mean it was obviously a taunt directed ad Kuzy.
I thought it a bit much for the whole team to be doing it (on OUR ice)
I mean a lot of Cap fans said Eller deserved his beating for "celebrating" his FIRST GOAL OF THE SEASON in the FIRST game of the season. I saw nothing wrong with it and did not think he was taunting Boston bench at all.
I mean the BJ's won the game and I have no problem with them showing enthusiasm for the OT win, but they were no doubt mimicking Kuzy. It's not like they have a PENS type record against us in years of playoffs or something.
