I don't know what to say, but I will pass on 37 year old marchand.
F'n hate the guy, but then he's the type of guy you hate unless he's on your team.  Dale Hunter was similar agitator with some skill type of guy, but Brad has put up serious numbers in his career.  I loved Dale Hunter, one of my all time favorites, but Marchant is a little farther into the sewer with his dirty play IMO.
I know this is just a "story" and the fact that he's available and the Caps are looking generates this kind of BS story, but I hope we can do better than Marchant.

You bums better be paying attention! We'll be acquiring "The Rat" for next season.. He's the MVP this Cup finals, then will come here at lose 3 steps by his 1st shift as our new 41 year old 1C.

Ho hum.  Knew it was coming.  Oilers just not complete enough.  Can't blame this on the goalies, but they damn sure contributed greatly to the failure.
Florida is just very well put together and they peaked at the right time.  Got a pretty decent coach too.
