Eh, I'll take 5 out of 6 standings points with our schedule the last 3 games.


I must say, I find it intriguing to see all the shouting about "shoot the puck" on a night the Caps have had 40 shots and outshot the Canes 2-1.

That was me and a direct response to a sequence where we kept passing until we lost the puck.   Again.
Shooting the puck into their goalie's breadbsket is all good and fine, IF you have someone at the net ready for the revound.  Not so much this game.

Frustrating to watch.

Watched it last night on the Canes TV channel.  Their analyst was even more of a homer than Lachlin is for us. He was saying how good of a hit the boarding of Kuzy was.  I'm surprised you guys didn't get more pissed about that. I thought it was a suspendable hit - if it was Willy, it would have been 10 games!


Thought TVR played his best game ever before he got hurt. He was feeling it and moving the puck with confidence.

I was yelling at the tv, but after seeing the replay a couple times I think the call on that hit could’ve went either way…

the only thing that made it look bad is the way Kuzy’s face appeared to hit the boards, if that was an open ice hit there would be no question it was clean
