Was it lack of effort or just stupidity? I saw most of the 3rd and some highlights and it looked (like most nights) Holtby just wasn't superman and faced odd man after odd man after bad pass after turnover after... Can they not solve being out of position a half dozen times per game? Or making lazy cross ice passes when there's a defender(s) standing right there?  It's just getting old.

Yea, I've been seeing some social media posts wanting Holts traded..  I'd love to see their reactions if we didn't have elite goal tending. (We're seeing some of that recipe here lately) I can't fault him for tuning out a bit, if that's what's happening. He has to be depressed with the product he sees on the ice every night.

I’d love for him to go the hell off on one of defenseman right on the ice after a goal, maybe take a swing at him too.   Not like they haven’t deserve it 100 times over

   I mentioned the Patrick Roy incident yesterday to Lilly. I said they had to pull Holtby after the 2nd or we could see another Roy incident. Would hate to see him walk out on the team like that but if something doesn't change it could happen.

While I didn’t see it, I doubt th3 D played a perfect game and the goals where all on Holtby.


How GMBetaMale, this organization, and players treat him is disgraceful.  He has to be close to “checking out” and or demanding a trade.


As this team getting to the third is highly, HIGHLY, unlikely maybe he needs to shopped at the read line for his own good

I thought the Caps, Blackhawks and NHL were right on in their statements in support of Smith-Pelly.  Simply no place for racially taunting a player and the Blackhawks did the right thing in ejecting the fans and if they are season ticket holders they should be barred for the rest of the season.

that's a good question, it's certainly a turnaround from a couple months ago where this team didn't show up for Grubs

Probably a product of all the over privileged, overpaid, underachievers on the team? Butt hurt that he went off on them during the (2nd intermission) Detroit game.
