There's been a few times in the last 20 years that all 50 states had snow on the ground at the same time. Most people think Hawaii is the outlier in that, when it's actually Florida.

Saw that this morning.  Good on Dowd. $1.3 per for him is pretty fair.  Sounds cheap honestly, but he was at $750k so decent pay raise for him. Not the most skilled guy, but definitely solid and his face off percentage has greatly improved and he is a solid 4c workhorse that fits well with this team.

Nice the Caps are on a winning streak - but really they are just keeping pace with the Conference/Division leaders...  I'll take it.


Our division is really tough.  As expected, only a few games/points from 1st place to 6th place so...keep it up.



At least the Panthers finally started to come back down to reality...lost their last four in a row (last two were SO and OT losses), still leading the entire conference though.


Rest of the month is pretty tough schedule.  Need to keep it going.

Congrats to Brouwer.  He was a solid guy when here.  Had some big moments.


His best contribution to the Caps.....he was in the trade that brought Oshie here  .  No knock against Brouwer, and not that he was the reason we got Oshie, but....he was part of that deal.

and...what has he been doing the last two years if he hasn't played a game in two years?  Was he playing on the Blues AHL squad?
found it....He was put on and cleared waivers Jan, 2020, so played on the AHL squad.  (He was on a 1-year, two-way contract)

I know deer and groundhog do, but.....did they climb the stairs to my porch and roll them down into the yard?  And they ate a heck of alot of it...like 1/3 of it.  Happened on two different nights last week or so?  And the one they chose is older and starting to mold inside at the bottom?


And what is the difference in a groundhog and a woodchuck?


And who else is bored?  I know the Caps played twice this week, but it doesn't feel like it since I didn't really watch either game.
