For those of you taxpayers in Fairfax County...good to know your tax dollars are well spent.
The McLean Community Center is hosting a "family friendly" LGBTQ+ party on your dime. It's open to those 6 and up. Yeah, I want my 6 year old at this event.
But I guess you get better results if you start the LGTQ+ induction in the early years.

Now, we all know I'm an old white guy so therefore must be a bigot, racist, culturally insensitive and my input is thus null and void, BUT...
What would the uproar be if a government owned facility hosted a party to promote heterosexual family values and Christian values? How about the nutzo Nazi groups?...or any other non "politically-correct" special interest groups? I'm neither pro Nazi nor pro LBGTQ+, but I don't want either group hosting a "family friendly" event at a government owned facility.
Or any other special interest group for that matter. Is this what the purpose of the county government is? To promote the values of special interest groups?

So, since I am culturally "less special-abled" I had to look up what the + means in LBGTQ+.
* + (Plus): The 'plus' is used to signify all of the gender identities and sexual orientations that are not specifically covered by the other five initials. An example is Two-Spirit, a pan-Indigenous American identity.
* So, IF the + signifies all of the gender identities not specifically covered by the other five initials in the made up LBGTQ...Does that make me a + since I am a heterosexual? OR is their all-inclusive + part of the acronym exclusive to those who choose to be something unidentified by their special interest acronym? (aka...normal heterosexual)
And now apparently I have to go look up WTF "two-spirit pan-indigenous American" means.
Apparently it means a LGBTQ Indian.

The second best team in the entire league of 30 teams after a full 162 games season (based on the record) is the LA Dodgers who have an astounding record of 106w 56L
puts them 1 game behind the Giants who were 107 55 and happen to be in the same division.
That's a full 10 games better than almost all other teams making the playoffs, yet they have to play a wildcard game to get in?
162 games is a ridiculous amount of games and to be 10 games better than other teams in the playoffs (and 28 games better than the next team in your division), and yet not get a full playoff chance is stupid.
I'm no Dodgers fan but that's dumb.
Dodgers are 18 games better than the Braves who are in.
Good thing I'm a Nats fan so I haven't had to contemplate any potential playoff unfairness in any serious nature in say....4-5 months. :smirk:
