What's a "black ace"?? I've seen it in several articles. Is it just a quote from him or is it actually a thing?

I don't see him taking anyone's spot, currently. Sprong prolly gonna get replaced by Kuzy on Wednesday or Friday. Don't see Sheary losing a spot.. Prolly need to be an injury for him to get in on the minutes!

It appears to be his quote. He's been doing very well in the AHL the last two months, but that doesn't always translate to the NHL.

I thought Anderson did fine, coming in cold. I expected him to start G2, and he's fine for now, but I would expect a long run is too much for him - not that his age is a problem, but just that he has had so little like back to back playing time. That's a long 60 minutes+ if it goes on for many games for him.

Also, about 2 weeks ago, I had a thought "what if" Anderson became "the guy" for the playoffs for some reason. Just a random thought and before the Sammy BS so didn't think much of it.

If this team loses in the playoffs because of goaltending - it's Sammy's fault, not Anderson's.

I'm all aboard for "next man up" but that is NOT why he was brought here.
