Problem is Montreal started too well at 7-1-2. SO when you get to 9-5-4, it's worse than it sounds
See the Caps got to 9-5-4 by playing slightly better than mediocre all along....so the coach don't look so bad
Actually their records were pretty similar all along. I think maybe things are a just bit more scrutinized in Montreal when it comes to hockey. Or maybe they're just more uptight about it.
