Something has bothered me about our team for years - that is the players aren't selfish enough! Too many times they look to make the extra pass instead of shooting, especially in high scoring situations. Willy was a great example of that against Buffalo. After he had already scored his shorty, he has a breakaway and decides to drop pass it! I almost fell off my chair. Later in the last minute with a chance to shoot at the empty goal, he passes again.
It is great to be a good teammate, but I have wanted a Coach to get the message across that they need to Shoot the Puck! Get selfish - Shoot first!
