True, but..... a winning team has to win more that 1/4 in OT/SO...and how many goals have we actually scored had in three games of SO?
Caps Hens - Caps 0 goals with 4 shooters in SO
Caps Hens - Caps lose in OT (fucking Crosby)
Caps vs Buff - Caps win with 1 goal from 4 shooters in SO (Carlson)
Caps vs Buff - Caps 0 goals with 3 shooters in SO
Caps have 1 SO goal in 11 SO attempts. That's horrible no matter who the goalies are. That's 9%. Very small sample size, but the league average over the last 5 or so seasons is a little better than 30%
I'm sure our percentage will pick up, but not good so far.
I'm also sure some talking head will start spouting....Caps are unbeaten in regulation blah blah blah. Yes true, but losing 75% of OT and SO isn't great.
Hey, they are in 1st place so good on them. Points is points...even one at a time, but it would be nice not to give that extra one away more often than not....especially this season when you are ALWAYS giving it to someone in your division.

when a woman asks what the first thing you noticed about her was and you correctly tell her it was her blue/green/brown eyes, it gets you a lot farther than being able to correctly tell her the color of shoes she's wearing
