Trade Deadline Updates,Rumors and laugh at Eklund
DC_1908:
I wouldn’t be surprised either, but I doubt it will be for a lack of trying. When it comes down to it, we just don’t have that many desirable assets. Kuzy, Orlov, Burma, Holts, Oshie all have contracts that will be had to move. Hooks, Eller, Djoos, Browery or Connolly won’t be enough on their own to get much significant done. Which leaves Carlson or Willie. Moving Carlson wouldn’t make much sense unless it was for a better Dman and cap space.
[/size]Willie though, a good GM wouldn’t trade a player like Willie unless he had at least three like him, but we don’t have a good GM

One day the Stanley Cup will go to the team with the best programmers. Or maybe the players will be at home in front of their XBOX Kinect controlling the players on the ice, to keep some human element in the game.

Well that would stop the concussion fad wouldn’t it?

You are probably right but it won’t happen in my lifetime so I don’t have to worry about it.

Oh, please don't bring Green back. He is another Shattenkirk - with some offensive talent, but weak on defense. Didn't we learn our lesson last year? To make it worse, Green just reunites a big part of the Young Guns and we need to move on with fresh players.
Besides, we stink at deadline deals. Nearly every single one of them has been a disaster. We are already showing the lack of a decent farm system and giving away more assets on lopsided, overpriced trades is just plain stupid.

Agreed,
I just don’t trust GMBetaMale and Monumental Entertainment not to go get both a big name, and bring a former player who just lit up the All Star Game.
Unfortunately, I think the only way this doesn’t happen is Holland gets a better deal than The Caps can offer without calling up half of Hershey.
