Caps in 1st place with 18 games remaining. I don't really think it matters much what place they are in as long as they make the playoffs.

We'd certainly like to see them shore up their 3rd periods and I would like for Sammy to get his game in top shape. He made some fantastic saves yesterday and was hung out to dry on several, but he is allowing too many goals. I realize it is total team D letting them down, but he needs to be technically better. Need him to catch fire and take the #1 spot without a doubt in anyone's mind. Nothing against Vitek, they are both good and both young, So I'd be okay with either taking the #1 spot, but I'd rather one of them just go ahead and prove it now without any question.

Tough schedule coming up. 8 of next 11 are away games. Caps are pretty even with home and away but they have to travel to/from 8 of the next 9 with only two games (which are at home) without having to travel for the next game.

NYI Tuesday, then Boston Thursday, then Buffalo Friday then Boston Sunday then home Tuesday and Thursday then back on road for the next four (the last of those 2 in the Isles barn).. That's a lot of traveling and some tough teams.

I'd be pleasantly surprised is the Caps win better than 5 of the next 10. They play the Isles 3 of the next 10, and 4 of next 11

Prolly that troll Bettman called her and said...."Nah....we don't want the Caps to have any chance at any type of success so just keep stalling. It's like when I just kept stalling on Willy's hearing until his ridiculous suspensions are almost up. Just postpone actually making a decision until it's too late"

Washington is such a fucked up POS city. It's an embarrassment that our nations capital is in this corrupt city. So sad too, because parts of the city really are picturesque and beautiful. (just don't walk around it at night)

yes, had to go shopping. I'm having sloppy joes tonight to go with my whisky

although, I may put it on a croissant, got a bag of them today

and WTF is wrong with crab cakes

if they are made right they are awsome, even make good samiches
