In case you all forgot, the NBC contract to air NHL games ends with the conclusion of this season. Every local market, at least in the U.S., became an NBC affiliate in the past few years so not sure how that's going to work either. Personally, I have a hard time believing ESPN has the money for this...

Caps are tied for last in division with Buffalo...in Allowing the most goals against with 80.  Need to tighten that up.


Islanders beat Boston in SO last night, have won 6 in a row and 8-1-1 in last ten (Caps are 7-2-1)  Caps have a game in hand and an identical record with Islanders (if Caps WIN that game in hand)


Tampa has best record in NHL at 18-4-2, .792 winning percentage

I have no frikin idea where you’d anchor this thing, and it would need a supply boat that could pump septic. I think you gotta be 12 miles out to dump it overboard, even then you wouldn't want to do that right next to a stationary accommodation barge.

the main level is 35,000 square feet, I don't think two are necessary. But I would get a second, smaller barge to make a dock out of so it could accommodate more than three boats

SO that's basically $100/SF.
$3.5mil seems cheap for what that is.  I get it's a little odd, but still....for the shear size of it.  375' long?  Curious as to how many rooms it has.


So, I don't know anything about boats...but this is a barge which means it's basically just a floating..."hotel" and has no propulsion of its own?  Or does this baby have engines?

Looks to be a floater. (Has a tug hooked to it on one of the pics) Wouldn't need to worry about the 12 mile/septic deal in the gulf as it wouldn't be of any real use (other then spectacle) unless it was anchored many miles offshore. All the good fishing in the gulf is hours of boat ride time away. Be nice to take a chopper out to the "hotel", then only need to ride for 10 minutes or so by fishing boat, to get to the good fishing grounds. I imagine if it made any money though, it wouldn't be up for sale. It'd take a bunch of special (ie: rich) client fisherman to make it profitable. Then if you have a hurricane, you'd have to move it. So, I think Im gonna keep my 3.5 mil for another venture..  :snicker:
