WARNING ✋‼️( now it’s on you, if you read any further)!

Lmfao, Alta.
It could’ve been the same girl, but no big fake tits. Although she may have had surgery at a later time!
I believe her name was Karen maybe? She was super skinny, (like coke-whore skinny), and crack wasn’t around yet, in those days, so she wasn’t like, extremely emaciated!😆😆

Small correction, buddy. There was no “crapping on the bed”! (Yuck!). To be clear, just a little “residue”, on me!!🤣😂🤣  AND THAT WAS ENOUGH, to make my mind up,  right then and there!🤮🤮

Man ALTA, I thought I’D been around the block a time or two!
You GO, boy!

We can’t assume Samsonov will just step in for Holts and we won’t miss a beat. Like any hot young goalie, there is a very big chance that he will level-off if not fall off all together in his first full season if not the next.   It’s like Chuck Barkley said, “There’s no such thing as a sophomore slump, it’s called ‘they have tape on your butt’”

Sammy may well be our future goalie, but we can’t be confident on how good that future will be for a few years

Agree. Sammy has been better than Holts this year, but we can't say for certain that he will be better than Holts going forward. Reason why I want Sammy to get a lot more starts is because I think we've gotta look ourselves in the mirror and accept that $10 million a year for Holtby just isn't worth it given Holtby's decline over the past few years, and not to mention we don't have the space. We could save significant cap space by leaning more on a much much cheaper Sammy. If needed, get another decent goalie at like $4-5 million per, use the extra cap space to upgrade somewhere else.

Otherwise we're paying $10 million a year for a 30 year old goalie on a contract that will likely have term. He's already showed decline post-Korn. He'll decline further as he gets older. He's not going back to the Mitch Korn Vezina level days. He won us the Cup but he just caught fire at the right time, he was utter trash the rest of the year. Would rather not pay $10 million for that. No guarantee he catches fire at the right time again, no guarantee he makes those game-stealing saves at the most important times.

Well said, Alta!
I got a laugh out of it at the time! I agree, it’s ran it’s course.

By the way buddy, I’m not sure how you took part of my reply,  but just to be clear, me saying you’ve been around the block a time or two, is just giving you some deserved props!

I think you know like I do, there’s a lot of folks out there afraid to live life.  Never taking any risks. Many are quite miserable. Some of them I actually feel sorry for!👍

4 Caps:
There is no way the Caps are going to give Holtby 10 million a year or anywhere close to it.  If he would accept 8 million a year and not demand a no movement clause I wouldn’t be against re-signing him.
