Wow, we’ve just seen a history!

Wow. I’m must have said “unfuckingbelieveable” about 6 times after we tied it
Definitely did not deserve that one. Sharks gonna (well sure as hell should) have a real sore ass for a while over that
Holtby was not great most of the game and then stellar in OT
Glad to see Vranna awake. Oshie is like the 6 on 5 goal king.
Eller Hags and evening Panik have looked SO much better the past month.  Their PK skills have outweighed their ES goal shortages. Now they are picking up the o a bit they are a gray third line
And out fourth line...Damn fine
Now if we could just reawaken our top line.
Anyhoo....I’ll take stolen/given two points

I think the caps have scored more 6 on 5 goals this year than all previous years combined

Fantastic OT though.

Thats the difference between a Stanley cup winner vs a perenial playoff choker.

They thought they won and waited for the final horn instead of PLAYING to the final horn.

Way to go caps!

it was a nice comeback, but I gotta say, a Norris candidate doesn’t throw the puck over the glass with 5:00 when you’re trying to tie the game

When I saw that I cut him a lot of slack. Kane had just grabbed Carlson a split second before and Meier railed him into the boards one millisecond after he released the puck. Kane was hitting him with his stick from behind as he flung the puck and the only reason he let go was because Carlson elbowed him. I'd call it under extreme duress.  I actually thought they might not call the penalty because contact had been made between Carlson and Meier almost as the puck left his stick.  The question is why he was behind our goal all alone with two Sharks.  There were dumber penalties taken by the Caps in this game.
