Hate to be a bubble burster but that was luck. Can't rely on one of the opposing team's players losing his stick everytime we're in this situation. 9 times out of 10 the defender doesn't lose his stick and 9 times out of 10 we don't get that goal.


What's more troubling is that when down 2-3, we have a 2 man advantage and can't get to work. We were handed an opportunity on a silver platter. Our power play has got the limp dick syndrome and Reirden's got the limpest dick of them all.

That was pure idiocy by Ovechkin. As a 30 something year old he should be mature enough to make game winning plays and not YouTube plays. No excuse to try to dance between 3 opponents, especially considering the entire NHL knows his only 2 moves. What's worse is he's not the only guy guilty of that (for instance, Kuzy on the PP).

Is that Reirden's game plan? "Hey guys, first line privileges and free dinner for the player who ends up on YouTube highlights tonight with some sick dangles?"
