Back from the game.
Actually, Florida played well, and it was one of those games where guys got fortunate on tips and such. The puck was ping-ponging around a lot. Sometimes you have to tip your hat to the other team, or realize that the predominance of fortunate bounces is on their side. Holtby actually had a pretty good night, though the results don't say it. Of course, Kempny's blown tire was just an unfortunate footwork issue. I have to give the team credit though; they stuck with it even though they were chasing the game the whole night and did manage to pick up a standings point. As tight as things are, every point counts.
It's true that the top 2 lines were pretty much invisible almost the entire game. It got better in the 3rd when Reirden switched Vrana and Ovechkin. A lot of people are saying that Ovie/Backstrom/Oshie is too slow for a top line in today's NHL, and it did look better when they split up the speed. The Eller line was by far the best, and for that matter, Burakovsky was the best forward on the ice for either team tonight. For whatever reason, he was really on his game, and he was having puck luck, in that the puck was getting to him in places where he could do something with it. He has skills of course, but he never seems to be able to free himself to use them.

I canned that app after sorely trying it for 3 weeks. Followed it with a sizzling-ass letter, too! Let em have it!
I am realistic, as the letter just made me feel good, as there is ZERO expectation that the young, millennial, marketing, fuck, that I emailed it too, actually read the thing. The first three-syllable word he came to, that he didn’t recognize, started the automatic, index finger, muscle synapse twitch, that presses the all to familiar delete button. Further insuring his boss never gets the complaint! A well rehearsed move, that guarantees the survival of that SHITTY MY TEAMS APP! Well at least for 90 days, which is an eternity to that aforementioned millennial marketing fuck! LOL😂🤣

Well Rush, I guess all of us real men are “to slow for today’s NHL” huh?
I mean “in today’s NHL”,
if any thing that Dorthy Hammel couldn’t program is to sophisticated for new fans, so q simple app is to much for “today’s NHL” programmers and IT staff, why the hell do they still allow goalies?
i mean goalies are slow and slow down the game after all, so why don’t Mr Bettman and Mr Leonis just get rid of them? After all,it will speed up the game and up the scoring

Yeah Bura had a strong showing but I wouldn't want BMac to let a good game here or there convince him to keep the dead weight. I'd bet money that Bura's just going to try to play strong up until the trade deadline to save his livelihood in DC and then he's going to play like shit once he's "safe" and doesn't have a fire under his ass.
I'm a bit worried that BMac thinks that just because Bura has a few good games and "the 3rd line is clicking" that he'll want to keep the line together for the playoffs. Well, with Todd at the helm we shouldn't be worried about the playoffs.

I hate to say this, but last night when they showed Reirdens face in the 3rd it was the first time I thought this guy doesn't have a clue. I hope I'm wrong.
