I just rewatched the game...awake and sober and you are correct sir. I can’t believe I never noticed. How I the world has Alan May never punched his lights out.
They’ve got May doing his pasted smile again. Probably biting his tongue just wanting to pound the marshmallow he’s forced to stand next to.

I can’t NOT see it now. Too funny. It is so obvious.

Totally agree on the Alan May “pasted smile”, Rich!
Have always respected Alan May as a player, and as a commentator.
That forced smile/grin thing he does, when Carlin is talking, or actually, whenever May is on camera, but not commenting, is SO UNNATURAL looking for HIM!
I first noticed it around the 15 game mark or so, this year! It’s so NOT him, that it’s obvious one of the media producers, or an equivalent entertainment higher up in production, sat him down, and either strongly suggested it for his broadcast career improvement, OR they got tough on him about it!
It’s looks like it has literally been practiced, over and over, before allowing it on air!
Hard to believe that Alan May simply “decided” to start doing it out of the blue! His raw edge is what dwells in him instinctually!
I’m worried he will eventually become all “Hollywood”, on us, over time! It might just be my imagination at this point, due to the fake smile issue, but I’m hearing some softer, less icy, more corporate, type stuff, getting subtly inserted into his commentary at times!
GOD, I HOPE IM WRONG!!

If DSP hadn't scored a few key goals in the run last year, I think everybody would be calling for him to sit - he is slow, has hands of stone and is a poor passer. Time to move on.
While I am at it. Stephenson better start stepping it up. For a buy that has great skills, other than playing a decent defensive game, he is not coming close to his potential. I know, I know - his role is defensive, blah, blah, blah - but if he had half the desire Vrana had, he could be a star.

There’s starting to be enough data that neither Stevenson, Jaskins or DSP are a for Reirdons system and/or Reidon.
