A couple interesting observations in this game. We have been credited with a total of 1 hit through 2 periods. That's unheard of. No one can say we aren't soft.
   And I noticed Seigenthaler took Orlovs spot in the pk.

    Very good game. Nice shutout for Holtby. I want to see Bowey and Seigenthaler together more often. Djoos is fine as a healthy scratch. Both have more upside than Djoos.

It just looks stupid. The concept, obviously, is to slingshot a forward, traveling at a faster speed, to try and get an edge on crossing the red or blue line. OUR slingshot develops so slowly, usually, that no advantage is gained, over just having Kuzy or somebody bring it up from the git-go!
OH YEAH, and it’s been SO DAMN SUCCESSFUL!!!  LOL!

    I dont like the play. If something goes wrong there is no one back there. It cost us against the Oilers earlier this year. There are other ways to get the puck to forward at a high speed.

I did just want to chirp in with how we've played this game, with so many key players out.  That's pretty impressive.

Justwins post mentions forbidding Carlson. The common, running joke on this board is that you like all things Carlson!
You have posted in the past that you also dislike the play, as do most of us here.
The point was that this play is so universally disliked, that even our famous  “Carlson fan”, on the board, doesn’t like it either!  That’s why I said it that way.
