Wilson with 22+ minutes again tonight, tops among the forwards. I think the guy may be counted on to be a HORSE this year.

Good to see him credited with 6 hits tonight. He only had 4 his first 3 games -- I thought he might be a little gun-shy.

That is a good point. I am sure Nicky and Ovi would have been two of the shooters not sure who the third would be, maybe Vrana.

I'd say they should have used Wilson. He could skate straight for the goalie at top speed and hope to terrify him into allowing a goal.

Goodness, did Wilson fill up the scoresheet tonight. He even won 3 of 4 face-offs he took. Note that 9 -- that's NINE -- Caps forwards took face-offs tonight. It may be one of those cases where, if you have 9 face-off men, you really have no face-off men.

All the faceoff men was because our guys kept getting kicked out.

Soo glad I stayed up and overcame my yawns to watch this game. I was on the edge of my seat for the 3rd period and OT.

I thought our D was pretty lacking, as usual and tbh expected in the first and most of the 2nd periods, but improved quite a lot in the 3rd.I was very impressed in the way our guys fought back in the 2nd after that devastating turn of events in the first couple of minutes and regained their composure. I thought that showed a huge amount of character, led for the most part, by Ovi.Hugely gratigying that Eller scored the OT goal just a few seconds after he'd beenboo-ed by his old team's supporters.
Very entertaining.

That was probably the best period of hockey I've watched this year. Kept looking at the clock to see if we were on the PP. Allstar caliber goaltending on both ends.. OT winner.. Good times!! OK, catch ya'll next one.. FOr Reals Dis time!
