Thanks for all the well wishes.  Unfortunately, the Caps are not doing their part.  That was not a good period of hockey, as Locker stated hopefully the Caps will find their legs in the second period.  If they don’t this could turn ugly in a hurry.

Feeling a bit sorry for Copley after that.  He had some amazing saves."Bear" is now "Bore-akovsky"  according to the Devil's comms....

    He made some good saves early. The team is hanging him out to dry but I can see why he never made the NHL earlier. He looks very weak technically.

    It is no excuse. Teams used to play back to back all the time and they didnt use it as an excuse.

It’s even more inexcusable to play a 13 goal pond-hockey game the first game of a back-to-back, particularly when you have to travel and you’re starting a goalie with 2 NHL games on his resume

   In the 2nd game of a back to back Id try to slow the game down and tighten up defensively.

That is a good description.  Not only do they look physically tired but they look mentally tired too.  They are slow in making decisions and lack focus.

Travel shouldn't be an excuse, but having to play the back side at another teams home opener with all the excitement and adrenaline that entails is being setup for failure in my eyes... and there is no reason one team has to go through that twice in one season
